Egyptian Customs has introduced a new electronic system for the pre-registration of shipment information: Advanced Cargo Information (ACI).

The ACI will be mandatory for all shipments arriving at Egyptian airports from October 1, 2022.

Record ACID number

In order to meet the Egyptian requirements, a new field was added to the air freight export order.

If an Egyptian destination airport is entered in an order, the new ACID number field appears next to the MRN field in the AWB Main tab.

In this field, the ACID number can be entered manually, starting with the prefix ACID.

Display ACID number field

• With a B2B there are two separate ACID numbers, these are recorded accordingly in the HAWB and MAWB.
• A consol has several ACID numbers that are entered in the HAWBs and in the consol.

The AWB transmission was adjusted in this context so that the ACID number is automatically transmitted correctly in the FHL and FWB message.

  • If a standard mask is used in Airfreight export, the ACID no. field is automatically displayed.
  • If an individual mask set is used for Airfreight export, the ACID no. field must be included in the mask set manually.

The field is located in mask set → AWB Export Facelift.

Print ACID number in AWB/Manifest

If an ACID number was entered in the order (ACID prefix + 19-digit numerical code), this is printed in the AWB (HAWB and MAWB) and in the manifest.

ATTENTION: This only applies to our standard Crystal Report AWB and the standard manifests.

If you want the ACID number to be printed in the AWB or manifest, please get in touch with your contact at CargoSoft.

For the adaptation of individual reports, please get also in touch with CargoSoft.
