Preallocation of fields for the order entry

Descriptions of the basic data application often mention the possibility of pre-assigning fields by activating a checkbox or by making an entry for the order processing of all or specific modules.
This refers to preallocations or suggestions in entry fields that facilitate the entry.
Every pre-assigned field in the order can still be changed.

If you move your cursor over a basic data program (Mouse over), it is highlighted in orange and a quickinfo appears.

Click once on the icon/button to open the search function of the corresponding application. The program appears as a new tab right next to the START tab (or Dashboard). This tab remains when you select another application, regardless of the menu it originates from.

All programs of the basic data menu can be opened and edited in the same way.

  • The tabs are displayed in the order they were opened.
  • The search tab opens first.
  • Click the X on a tab to close the corresponding basic data program.
  • If the tab bar is unable to display all the tabs at once, the tab on the left disappears from the bar and the new tab is added on the right side.
  • All opened tabs that have disappeared from the bar are displayed in a box that can be accessed with the DOWN ARROW icon in the right corner of the bar. Here you can close one or more of the basic data programs.

Sections

Many basic data programs combine the search, display and editing of data in ONE mask that is divided into three sections.

3 sections in basic data programs:

  • The upper section contains the search fields.
  • The middle section contains the search result lines.
  • The lower section displays the details of the line that you have selected in the middle section.
The lower section can also be used to modify multiple data lines at once.

Modify data

Click on a rate line to edit. The selected line is highlighted in color.

You can change the data either in the line itself or in the lower section of the mask.

Edit multiple lines at once

Select the lines you would like to edit with CTRL or SHIFT and the mouse key.
Press CTRL + A to select all lines in the result.
You can now modify all lines highlighted in blue.

The data can be modified in the lower section of the mask.

The fields are empty as they refer to multiple lines.
Here you can enter new data.
